Who Can Administer and Read a Tb Test
Are Pharmacists immune to administer and read TB examination?
In Texas, are Pharmacists allowed to administer and read TB exam? [Assuming the pharmacist is immunization certified]. Can the chemist administer and read TB test, if a patient brings in a RX for TB test? Or would the chemist have to exist under protocol with a dr.?
At CVS, information technology appears that TB test are done and read at minute clinic and not the pharmacy. Give thanks you guys in accelerate.

I had a CPA with a md in an contained pharmacy/primary care dispensary where I did my residency. Got TB certified through the local ALA. did LOTS of TB testing for nurses, local daycare centers, etc.

I did a rotation at an independent in Texas that gave and read it, only I am pretty sure information technology was under their collaborative do.

I went from retail to hospital pharmacy a couple years ago and had a PPD test placed by a nurse at the hospital. She told me that a PharmD could read it and I could merely bring back the forms. They only can't identify it.
I was however at my retail chore finishing out my notice and asked my pharmacist to read the test and she laughed and had to google how to do it. She said she has literally never seen one earlier.
Infirmary accustomed the paperwork with her signature and credentials though!

In New York land you lot just need to go certified to read the test. I work with a tech that's certified to do them.
